About the General Area (Upper and Lower Assembly)
The General Area is the dynamic, flexible heart of the Design Hub, designed for the crucial stages of collaboration, assembly, and project management. These open, adaptable spaces are where ideas are whiteboarded, teams converge, and prototypes begin to take shape outside of the specialized shops. Equipped with modular workbenches and supported by a tool lending library, this zone facilitates the essential, hands-on work of planning, light construction, and system integration, ensuring every project has a solid foundation before moving into specialized fabrication.
