The Design Hub is powered day-to-day by a dedicated team of student workers. These makers, designers, and engineers keep the space running — maintaining equipment, teaching users how to operate tools safely, and fostering a welcoming, collaborative environment. They’re peers who know what it’s like to take an idea from sketch to prototype, and they’re here to help you do the same.
Behind the student team is a group of professional staff who provide guidance, training, and technical expertise. This team ensures the Design Hub’s equipment, policies, and programs align with the highest safety and educational standards. They mentor student workers, oversee complex projects, and continually expand the capabilities of the space so that every user — from first-year student to faculty researcher — has the support and resources to bring their ideas to life.
